This was originally recorded by Fred, off the soundboard, with guitar on one channel and vocals on the other, with the idea of remixing it at some later time. I have not heard the original recently, but my recollection is that it was dry. I do recall there was some bleed of the guitar in the vocal channel.

Scott had a dat clone of this two track split, and he gave me the okay to do a mix of it. I used Cool Edit Pro to do all of the effects and mixing. My goal was to create something with an interesting stereo image, a shimmering guitar sound, and a vocal that was dripping wet with reverb and delay.

I thought the final result came out pretty good. It would be interesting to hear a mix of the original tracks without all of the processing, as this is not really representative of what the audience heard in the room that night.
